PaperClip Backup Policy

  • All data is considered a ‘live backup’ and any information entered is mirrored to at least 2 locations
  • PaperClip will take a live standing copy at least daily to be stored in our secure remote backup vault.
  • Training and trial logins are excluded from our backup policy.
  • PaperClip will offer backup copies no less than 14 days from the request.
  • Data entered by companies and individuals on to PaperClip platform will benefit from this policy.
  • Customers can store and retrieve data subject to the correct uploading and downloading of documents and or other resources that may be required to access this information (i.e. PDF Readers)
  • Data backup will also include all file types accepted within the PaperClip platform.
  • Customers requesting hard back up via file download can request this once yearly free of charge by email to  support@pclip.net
  • Upon cancellation of a customers account they will be emailed a download link within 14days which will be valid for 14 days. after this period the information will be deleted.
  • Where an individual or organisation wishes to no longer use PaperClip, the data backup can be performed under the terms of the agreement SAAS 14.3
  • Data will be kept for a period of 10 years subject to SAAS agreement 14.3 while your license fees (or fixed data maintenance costs) are being paid.
  • Our backups are made according to a CDP (Continuous Data Protection) disaster recovery process. Data constantly exchanged between our data centres.
